I've acquired the habit of dragging around a small notebook and pen. This is good. It has cajoled me back into writing. I do wish my penmanship was better. The current process is write, then capture in Obsidian at the end of the week. I'm not sure how I feel about using Obsidian. It is better than Joplin, but I feel like the lack of onedrive/google drive integration on iOS is a bit of a pain. You can fork over some cash to use Obsidian Sync. The value just isn't there for me at $8 a month. OneNote wasn't working for me and hasn't for a long time. I do like having everything in markdown for portability and future-proofing. Notion is one that every productivity youtuber is raving about. I do not like the fact that it locks you in to that walled garden. I feel like I have to fight between iCloud, Microsoft, and Google enough. Having another one to deal with is not appealing.
