I think my mid-life crisis has shown up and it is painting miniatures. I stopped painting in my late 20's. It's kind of crazy how many different paints and washes are on the market now. I've been experimenting with The Army Painter's SpeedPaint line of products and it is impressive how much it can create contrast. I am experiencing reactivation issues with the paint so it does make it a bit tough to correct mistakes or even add washes. It is an impressive line of products for fast results. It's unlikely that I will use them for everything (I've done a half dozen with SpeedPaints and I am starting to see the weaknesses it has with skin tones and smaller trim). I did get a wet palette and am using acrylics with washes/drybrush for the time being. Hope you are well.
