I've been playing a lot of [Vampire Survivors][Vampire-Survivors] lately. It is a single stick rogue-lite (like? I can never get that one right.). In short? It's good. The long of it? It is easy to pick up and disturbingly difficult to put down. You select a character, a stage, and you move them around. No buttons to push. Your character does all the attacking on their own. All you do is move them away or towards the danger. As you make your runs longer you unlock more weapons and playable characters. There are also tons of secrets to find and new modes to unlock. Levels last up to 30 minutes. The time limited nature of playthroughs is perhaps my favorite part about the game. If I'm getting ready for bed, I can fire up my [Steam Deck][Steam-Deck] and I know I'm not going to be up until 1 AM without realizing it (I'm looking at you [Stellaris][Stellaris]). It's $2.99. They keep adding to it. It's a bargain.
