[The Stanley Parable][the-stanley-parable], originally a HL2 mod, became a standalone game. The Ultra Deluxe Edition launched and I picked it up as I really enjoyed it the last time around. This new version is same as the old with plenty of added paths and new branches. I cannot stress how much of a unique experience this game is. It is funny. It is painfully self-aware. One part comedy, one part scathing critique of the games industry. It gets you to think of games in ways that you haven’t. It also has some deeply philosophic moments. I enjoyed it.
